This Earth Day, Isshiki Matcha brought a moment of calm and intention to the heart of the city with A Green Start: Earth Day Matcha Pop-Up at MiMA. Set against a bright morning in Midtown, the experience invited guests to begin their day with something simple, thoughtful, and grounding.
From 8:00 to 10:00 AM, residents gathered at 460 West 42nd Street to enjoy ceremonial grade matcha and ease into the day with purpose.

A Morning Rooted in Intention
The pop-up space was designed to reflect the spirit of Earth Day. A clean, minimal setup paired with natural textures created a sense of calm within the busy rhythm of the city. Matcha tools, fresh greenery, and thoughtful details came together to form an inviting station where guests could pause and engage.
Every element, from the preparation bowls to the serving station, was intentionally placed to highlight craftsmanship and care.

Matcha as a Daily Ritual
Throughout the morning, guests were served freshly prepared matcha, offering a moment of stillness before the day fully began. The experience was not just about the drink itself, but about the ritual behind it.
Matcha invites focus. It encourages presence. It creates a pause in the middle of movement.
For many, it was a first introduction. For others, a familiar comfort. For all, it was a chance to reconnect with something simple and intentional.

Celebrating Earth Day, Thoughtfully
Earth Day is a reminder to be more mindful of how we live, consume, and connect with the world around us. At Isshiki Matcha, sustainability begins with sourcing and extends into how we show up in spaces and communities.
This pop-up was a reflection of that philosophy. A quiet offering in the middle of the city, designed to recharge, inform, and inspire.

Thank You for Starting Green With Us
We are grateful to everyone who stopped by, shared a cup, and began their morning with us. Moments like these are a reminder that even small rituals can have a meaningful impact.
As we continue to bring matcha experiences into new spaces, we carry this intention forward.
Start green. Stay grounded. Sip with purpose.
