This past Saturday morning, while the rest of the city was still recovering from Halloween, our space was already full of fresh energy. Guests arrived early, greeted by the soft sound of brushes clinking in jars of water and the earthy aroma of matcha being whisked.

In collaboration with ClayCrew, we hosted our second Paint & Sip event. Each guest received a blank ceramic mug and a palette of paints. The vibe was unhurried. People chatted quietly, chose their matcha, and then settled into the relaxing rhythm of painting.
Some designed minimalist line art. Others painted bold patterns and color blocks. A few incorporated Isshiki green into their mug designs, no surprise there. The best part was watching everyone slip into a state of focus. Brushes moved slowly. Matcha cups stayed warm in their hands. The goal wasn’t perfection, just expression.
By the end of the session, each mug looked completely different, reflecting the person who painted it. We took group photos, admired everyone’s work, and packed up the finished mugs to be glazed and fired by ClayCrew.

A quiet Saturday morning. A room full of creativity. Matcha and ceramics.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event feel so calm, personal, and memorable. More community workshops are coming soon. Stay tuned for the next one.
