On June 23, 2025, New York City lit up for one of the most meaningful and electric nights of the year. The Young Angels Gala hosted by Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation’s Young Professionals Committee (YPC). From incredible live DJs and art to oysters, caviar, and matcha margaritas, this wasn’t just a party. It was a night dedicated to the mission to #CureCancerNow.

In the past two decades, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation has awarded nearly $45 million in research grants, with an astounding 88 cents of every dollar going directly to programs focused on music therapy and cutting-edge cancer research. The Young Professionals Committee, built by a passionate group of philanthropists and changemakers, continues to lead the way by leveraging their platforms, creativity, and drive to make a real difference.
The Matcha Margarita Moment 🍸✨
This year, Isshiki Matcha had the honor of sponsoring the gala, serving up our signature Matcha Margarita, a refreshing, elevated take on the classic cocktail, infused with ceremonial-grade matcha. Guests sipped, mingled, and danced the night away with a green drink in hand and yes, the crowd loved it.

Whether it was the boost of energy from the matcha or the glow from being part of something bigger, the Matcha Margarita turned into a staple of the night. People came back for seconds (and thirds), and we couldn’t have been more excited to bring a taste of tranquility to such a lively and inspiring event.
A Night of Magic (Literally)
This gala wasn’t your typical formal affair, it was a night full of surprises and experiences:
🎴 Tarot card readings for those seeking cosmic insight
🎨 A talented artist sketching full-body portraits live on the floor
🦪 Freshly shucked oysters by a Hamptons-based pro from East Hampton Shucker
🖤 Luxe caviar bumps by Apres Caviar
🥃 Tastings of a new whiskey label that had everyone buzzing

Each moment was thoughtfully curated, adding a layer of magic and wonder to the evening. It was a space where creativity, community, and compassion came together with the shared purpose of fighting cancer.
Over $300,000 Raised
Thanks to everyone who showed up, donated, danced, and believed in the cause, this year’s gala raised over $300,000 for Gabrielle’s Angels. Every dollar will help fund life-saving research and healing music therapy programs that directly impact those living with cancer.
The Energy Was Unreal
The venue pulsed with joy and purpose. Conversations flowed as freely as the cocktails, strangers became friends, and for one night, hundreds of young professionals united under a single mission: to imagine and build a world without cancer.
We at Isshiki Matcha were deeply honored to be part of the evening. Watching people sip our Matcha Margaritas while connecting over art, music, and mission reminded us exactly why we do what we do. To serve not just drinks, but experiences that matter.
Big Thanks to Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation
To @gabriellesyoungangels and the entire YPC team, thank you for letting us be part of something so special. To everyone who attended, your energy fueled the night and the movement. We’re proud to have been part of it.
