Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. All US orders over $50 ship free with standard delivery in 5 to 8 business days. Orders under $50 ship from $4.90. Canadian orders ship free over $70.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. US Express is $19.40 with delivery in 1 to 2 business days, selectable at checkout. Canada Express is $29 (1 to 2 days). Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship across the United States and to Canada. Canadian orders arrive in 6 to 10 business days and ship free over $70, with express available. We do not ship to other countries yet.
Product and quality
Where does your matcha come from?
Our matcha is shade-grown and stone-milled in Japan from first-harvest, single-cultivar leaves sourced from the Uji region of Kyoto.
What is the difference between your matcha types?
Our core matcha (Yabukita and Samidori) is first-harvest, single-cultivar ceremonial grade, smooth enough to drink straight or in a latte. Yabukita is bold and umami-rich; Samidori is sweeter and more delicate. We also offer flavored blends like Ichigo Strawberry and roasted Hojicha.
How do I make matcha?
Sift about 1 to 2 grams (half a teaspoon) into a bowl, add 2 to 3 oz of water at about 175 degrees Fahrenheit (just below boiling), and whisk briskly in a zig-zag motion with a bamboo whisk until frothy. Add your milk of choice for a latte.
How much caffeine is in matcha?
Matcha has roughly 30 to 70 mg of caffeine per serving depending on how much you use, less than a typical cup of coffee. Thanks to its natural L-theanine, the energy tends to feel calm and steady rather than jittery.
How should I store matcha and how long does it last?
Keep it in an airtight container away from light, heat, air, and moisture, ideally a cool cupboard or the fridge. For the freshest flavor, enjoy it within a month or two of opening.
Is your matcha vegan and gluten free?
Yes. Our pure single-cultivar matcha is 100% stone-milled green tea with no additives, so it is naturally vegan and gluten free. For flavored blends, check the ingredients on each product page.

Do you offer a subscription?
Yes. Subscribe and save 20% on matcha with deliveries on your schedule. You can pause, skip, or cancel anytime. Just choose the subscribe option on any eligible product page.
Can I return matcha?
Because matcha is a perishable food, opened items cannot be returned for food-safety reasons. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 30 days and we will make it right. Accessories and other non-perishable items may be returned within 30 days.
